How We Delivered

Phase 1: Consolidate the HubSpot instances. Loncom migrated ChargedEV from two separate HubSpot portals into a single, unified instance, replicating and restructuring all custom objects, deal pipelines and properties in the process. This included a subsequent migration from HubSpot Enterprise to HubSpot Professional as the business rationalised its toolset and cost base.

Phase 2: Migrate data and legacy tools. Multiple systems were migrated into or replaced by HubSpot to eliminate duplication and reduce costs. Front (customer communications) data was migrated across. Jira tickets were moved into HubSpot's task and project structure. Forte and Confluence data were migrated as part of the wider consolidation. Typeform forms were rebuilt natively in HubSpot. An Ops-to-Home Charge email migration, a sustained daily migration of operational emails into the domestic team's workflow, ran for over three months continuously to bring historical communications into the right pipeline.

Phase 3: Build the integration layer. Loncom designed and built a bespoke integration layer connecting ChargedEV's operational tools directly to HubSpot: a Companies House integration to pull verified company data into records; an MPAN/ENA checker integration to validate meter point administration numbers for domestic and commercial installs; a Property Checker integration; an OnRoute integration for field operations and route management; a WooCommerce integration for ecommerce data; an Aircall integration for call routing and logging; and a Calendly integration for booking management.

Phase 4: Build a multi-pipeline CRM architecture. With both B2C and B2B channels in a single HubSpot instance, Loncom designed and built separate pipelines for each: Domestic EV, Commercial, Renewables, Solar, Tenders and Renewal. Each was built with bespoke stage logic, automation, reporting and layout configuration to reflect how that channel actually operated, including commercial round-robin assignment automation and deal-won notifications.

Phase 5: Ongoing optimisation and embedded support. Loncom continues to provide day-to-day embedded support: continuous workflow refinement, dashboard and report development, custom object management, Partner and Partner Contacts object build, customer portal development, property grouping and layout updates, and pipeline changes as the business evolves with its market.
